“We had a private session in our home, and Maggie was incredibly supportive, knowledgeable, and accommodating to our needs and questions. As a family, we all feel so much more prepared to care for our bub when she arrives, and we found the resources provided extremely helpful. I couldn’t recommend this company more highly.”

“As a nurse, I’ve often found first aid repetitive or not particularly useful, but I couldn’t fault today’s session and even gained new knowledge. I’ll be recommending this course to my friends and fellow healthcare workers. Maggie and Zoe were incredibly relatable, easy to talk to, and passionate about teaching and providing support to parents."

- Alysha

"We had such a great experience. Maggie came to my house to run a first aid course for our mother’s group and it was wonderful. She was so lovely, super knowledgeable and also amazing with the babies. One of the best parts is that you can bring your baby along, which makes the whole thing so much more relaxed. Highly recommend to any new parents!"

"Such a good class and everyone learnt something new! With a group who are a mixed bag from nurses, St John senior first aid certificate holders, to others never done any form of first aid training, we all walked out learning something new. "Maggie & Zoe have done such an incredible, innovative job at delivering first aid. Being paramedics they really have such a detailed and knowledgeable perspective on being parents and understanding the importance of first aid. Not only do they have such fun and bubbly personalities. They truly do a great job at educating people about first aid."

"We hosted Zoe yesterday for a first aid course in preparation for our nephew’s arrival. The course was extremely organised, interesting and relaxed which made it easy to learn and ask questions. Having done a different course in 2017 we thought this would be a refresher but found we learnt a lot more practical information about what to do in a real emergency."

Can I bring my baby to the course?

Absolutely! Babies in arms are always welcome at our courses.

If your child is over one, we recommend arranging a babysitter or considering a private course. Our sessions run for several hours and understandably, toddlers often have much better things to do than sit through a first aid course.

Do I get any take home resources?

You sure do! We know you're unlikely to remember every single thing from a four hour course, so we've created plenty of ways to refresh your knowledge long after the day is over.

Every attendee receives a take home magnet pack featuring our Primary Survey Magnet and Medication Tracker, plus a handy keyring with access to our digital first aid manual. The manual covers everything taught during the course, broken down into easy to follow flowcharts and bite sized fact sheets for quick reference when you need it most.

You'll also receive 12 months access to our online course, allowing you to revisit all of the content covered on the day, plus additional bonus modules, whenever it suits you.

How many people are there in each class?

We cap our public courses at 24 people, although we often end up with a few less, life happens right?

Every course is taught by two trainers, allowing us to provide plenty of hands-on support, answer individual questions, and ensure everyone feels confident throughout the session.

We've found it's the perfect group size: large enough for lively discussions and shared experiences, but small enough that you'll still receive plenty of personal feedback, hands on practice, and support along the way.

You'll also receive 12 months access to our online course, allowing you to revisit all of the content covered on the day, plus additional bonus modules, whenever it suits you.

Will I receive a certificate?

Our courses are not accredited, which means we can spend less time ticking boxes and more time teaching practical skills that parents and caregivers actually need.

We focus on hands-on learning, real life scenarios, and building the confidence to respond in an emergency, not passing an assessment.

We are however always happy to provide a Certificate of Attendance after the course. Many healthcare professionals use this as supporting documentation for their Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

You'll also receive 12 months access to our online course, allowing you to revisit all of the content covered on the day, plus additional bonus modules, whenever it suits you.

Will there be a break?

We'll have a 15 minute break halfway through the course, giving you plenty of time to stretch your legs, grab a tea or coffee, and have a bite to eat.

We will provide tea and coffee from our pod machine. You're also welcome to bring along any snacks or food you'd like. Our venue has a fridge, freezer and microwave available for you to use at any time.

Of course, if you're attending with a baby, we completely understand that little ones don't always stick to the schedule. Feel free to step out whenever you need. And if you'd like an extra set of hands while you make a cuppa or duck to the bathroom, just ask, our paramedic trainers are always happy to help.

In case you miss anything, you will also receive 12 months access to our online course, allowing you to revisit all of the content covered on the day, plus additional bonus modules, whenever it suits you.
